Steve: "You're dumping MOI?" Hayden: "I was just having fun with you - Buh-bye!"

When I saw Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere, 19, sunbathing on a boat in Cannes (luckyyy!) with Welsh playboy Steve Jones, 32, I thought “Build a concrete fort around your heart so that womanizing bastard won’t yank you around!” But alas, I had no reason to be concerned… my girl Hayden DUMPED HIS ASS after Cannes. Booya, Mr. Jones! Take that kick to your overused balls and go back to (and pleeez stay in) London!

Here’s what Hayden told the Mirror about the whole fling: “I’m single and mingling. Steve lives in London, the distance is a bit too much… Cannes was a great experience. I was on vacation and some friends were going so I decided to come along. It was fun.” Fun, but not fun enough to stick around with some aging douchebag.

Seems that the 32-year-old was nothing more than a summer fling for Ms. Panettiere. Way to play the field, girl! And considering Jones has been linked to dating Pam Anderson, it’s probably best that Hayden didn’t stick around for too long. After all, Claire Bennet can’t afford to get face herpes while filming Heroes season 4!

So, bla bla bla, everyone wanted the Twilight movies to stay faithful to the books. Everyone wants that when they set out to make a movie rendition of a book. But in the case of Twilight, Twi-hards knew that Edward Cullen wasn’t in New Moon all that much. And that was not OK with the R-Patz fans! Twilight star Michael Welch tells MTV News how they’re going to keep Edward in the movie, even if it’s not totally faithful to the book.

So director Chris Weitz and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg developed a clever way to keep Edward (Robert Pattinson) in the movie. So, as in the book, Edward will break up with Bella, then flee to Italy. Ugh, so that’s why he gets to do all that filming on the gorgeous coast of Italy. Bella tries to get over the breakup as best she can — and as a girl, I know that would be pretty freakin’ hard — but starts realizing that doing dangerous things like motorcycle riding and cliff-diving cause her to hear Edward’s voice in her head. But in the book, it’s just his voice.

Chris Weitz decided to insert sequences, like hallucinations, of Bella seeing Edward, instead of just hearing his voice. He  says, “It’s tricky. I mean, [Edward] leaves for months.” So he took a little creative freedom? So what?

Mike Welch, who plays yet another of Bella’s love interests (what is with this girl?), Mike Newton, says,

“In the book, she just hears his voice. In the film, it’s more of like a hallucination kind of thing. He will be [in the movie more than the book] for sure. It’s going to be interesting to see — I have no idea. You can sort of picture it reading [the script], but I don’t know how they actually went about filming that stuff.”

This just in: King of Pop Michael Jackson’s funeral will be held at the… Staples Center Arena? Seriously? Hmm… we find that a tad tacky, if not just plain weird. But then again, we are talking about Wacko Jacko here. Also, since he spent most of his life performing in arenas, it seems like a somewhat appropriate venue. The service will take place on Tuesday, July 7^th, and will also be projected on giant screens for those who aren’t able to squeeze inside the 20,000 person capacity of the arena.

As if this weren’t bad enough, LARagMag reports that it will cost $25 per person to even attend the funeral! I understand that the Jackson family is pretty broke, but c’mon. Charging for a funeral? What is this, a goddam amusement park attraction?!

Yeah! I'm getting laid... I mean, married.

It has just been announced that the oldest (and ugliest) Jonas Brother, Kevin Jonas, is engaged to marry his longtime girlfriend, Danielle Deleasa. He is only 21! Too young! Too young!

Perez Hilton reports that the Jonai parents released this press statement:

“Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle Deleasa for her hand in marriage. Her answer was yes and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our families celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you for all of your support.”

Now, I think we all know what this is — two people choosing to spend their lives together… so they can finally have sex! I am so sick of Christian couples that wait ’til they’re married, then get married at 16. Time to take off that promise ring Kevin. You bout to get some!

It was reported that Michael Jackson named his 79-year-old mama Katherine Jackson guardian of his three children: Prince Michael, Paris, and Blanket. But if anything happens (god forbid!) to Mama Katherine, he wants… Diana Ross to be their legal guardian. Yes, the divine 65-year-old Miss Diana Ross. The two starred together in the blaxploitative commercial flop The Wiz and have, apparently, remained besties ever since.

Michael’s will states that his estate is worth $500 million (wasn’t he broke?) and everything has been left to the Michael Jackson Family Trust. The money is supposed to go to Katherine, his kids, and various charities. And not a penny for papa Joe Jackson! Which is how it should be.

Guess who else is OUTTA the will: ex-wife and baby mama Debbie Rowe - “I have intentionally omitted to provide my former wife, Deborah Jean Rowe Jackson,” Jackson stated in his will, which was dated July 7, 2002. “If any of my children are minors at the time of my death, I nominate my mother, Katherine Jackson, as guardian… If Katherine Jackson fails to survive me, or is unable or unwilling to act as guardian, I nominate Diana Ross as guardian.”

Also, Michael will not be buried at Neverland Ranch. His chi chi Santa Barbara neighbors do not want Japanese tourists knocking down their doors twenty years from now.

Eclipse 2010

What: Production on Eclipse begins!!!

When: August 17, 2009

Where: Somewhere foggy and forest-y in Canada.

Yes, it seems like they just finished filming New Moon, and they’re already beginning filming on the third Twilight installment, Eclipse. And the whole crew is coming back. While New Moon focuses more on Bella and Jacob’s relationship, Eclipse will give equal screen time to all the vampires and werewolves. And it looks like Jacob Black may not have totally taken away Bella, because Edward Cullen and Bella Swan are BACK ON.

And, as I’ve reported, the chemistry might be real, as Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart could be taking their on-set chemistry off-set. Let’s see what happens on the lot of the new film, which is set to be released on June 30, 2010. I know, I know, it’s a whole year from today, but remember, we have New Moon to look forward to in the meantime.

There’s still no word on when production will begin for Breaking Dawn.

Chris Brown pulled from BET Awards' Michael Jackson tribute.

Chris Brown is having a tough time making a career comeback after he went all Ike Turner on girlfriend Rihanna. Well, it looked like he was going to get his chance at the 2009 BET Awards when he was asked to perform in a tribute to Michael Jackson. I mean, who could forget his MJ tribute at the 2006 World Music Awards?

This  year was different, however — before the 2009 BET Awards show, producers pulled Chris Brown’s performance, and, of course, he was then a no-show at the awards ceremony. I mean, who gets demoted and still shows up for work?

Producers made the decision to pull Brown’s dance at the urging of Reverend Al Sharpton, who is ALL UP in Michael Jackson’s affairs. An insider says, “Al made such a fuss to the BET executives that they pulled Chris.” Jay-Z also did NOT want Chris anywhere near the awards ceremony: “Jay is a big name in the BET community, and he was very vocal about his displeasure with Chris attending the ceremony. He didn’t want Chris anywhere near the awards so close to the court’s ruling.”

Sources say Chris Brown is pretty furious that his performance was pulled at the last moment. Why, Chris? Um, was there something important you were putting off? Say making Youtube videos with Lil’ Bow Wow (sorry, just Bow Wow now)?

Brown’s ex, Rihanna, was also absent for the Awards ceremony, but she wasn’t there because the BET community was boycotting her. Nope — she was flirting it up in NYC with her new crush, Orlando Magic Forward Rashard Lewis.

Ok, so I’m a little late on this train, but there was some fierce fashion at the BET Awards and I just had to write a post about it.

So I thought Beyonce was a little WAY overexposed, but I’m coming back around to her again. I LOVE THIS OUTFIT. The Dynasty-inspired dress, the perfect shoes, the big plastic turquoise hoops. I mean, if you’re going to raid Tina Knowles’ 80s wardrobe, just go all out girl!

I also loved Keri Hilson’s fun and funky star-spangled dress. The “Turnin’ Me On” singer looked hot in the strapless number, but what was with her hair? Not feeling the product-heavy curls drooping on her face.

And my last vote for Best Dressed at the BET Awards would have to be Kanye’s girlfriend, Amber Rose. Miss Rose took a little getting used to, I admit, but I love this fierce white dress with hot pink heels.

Britney goes brunette and it's bleh.

Britney Spears is totally doing the domestic, “I’m in a serious relationship” thing — she was seen at a Bed, Bath, and Beyond with her boyfriend/manager Jason Trawick this weekend in L.A. No one, I repeat no one, goes to Bed, Bath, and Beyond with someone they’re dating unless they’re at a really comfortable point in the relationship. And Jason must really care what kind of hand towels and mattress pad Britney is buying, because he’s not only coming along; she was spotted wearing a RING on her RING finger. OMG, could this be an engagement ring?

And in equally shocking news, Britney is now sporting a ratty brunette wig. Oh, Brit, why you do this to me? I don’t like you in that super straw-like platinum blonde hair, but I don’t like you with that skank-a-lish brunette wig either. Can someone get this girl some caramel highlights please?

Will Neverland be the new Graceland?

Fans willing to drive to Los Olivos, California can see the late Michael Jackson’s body on display at his former home, Neverland Ranch. The King of Pop’s body will be driven to Neverland Ranch from L.A. at 10 am Thursday morning in a 30-car motorcade to prepare the body for public viewing.

Where Michael will be buried has not been decided yet. There are various legal issues around a burial at Neverland Ranch. Neighbors of the ranch don’t want it to have the Graceland effect –  MJ worshippers making pilgrimages there to visit his grave. The city of Gary, Indiana, where Michael grew up, is asking that he be buried there. (Which is morbid, as this is obviously a ploy to make Gary a tourist destination.)

Neverland Ranch was a fitting home for a man who refused to grow up. Michael Jackson purchased it in 1987, put in an amusement park and zoo, and lived there until 2005. It was also the site of the alleged molestations that tarnished M.J.’s reputation.
